Friends of Highlands Gardens

Highlands Gardens is a public garden in Barnet, North London, UK. The main entrance is at the junction of Abbotts Road and Leicester Road, New Barnet, near postcode EN5 5EB. 

It is open from dawn to dusk every day, the gates are locked at night. It closes at 4.30pm between November and February.

The gardens are maintained by the local council, the London Borough of Barnet.

The Friends are a group of local people who take an interest in the gardens, do a bit of work (weeding, planting bulbs, picking up litter etc) and advise the council on running the gardens. We can also apply for grants which the council is not eligible for.
